Profile Information

About Me:
I paint, I illustrate and I love travel, adventure and philosophy.
About My Art:
I started my early artistic career with formal training in Heraldic Arts. Later I expanded into Fine Art and Illustration, but continued to take on commissions as a Heraldic Artist up to this date.

Coat of Arms are emblems or symbols that express accomplishments or demonstrate status in society for individuals, businesses, products or services. In olden days they used to be granted to knights by royalty or nobility. They served as an image or symbol to show their status, as well as a recognition of their group in a battle. In contemporary societies everyone has the right to express their individuality and accomplishments and bear his/her Coat of Arms. These samples were commissioned, individually designed drawings and paintings. For more information please visit ----- www.coatofarmsartist.com

My paintings reflect a fascination for the outdoors, breathtaking scenery, unique viewpoints, illusions and dreamscapes. I love strong contrasts, bold and vibrant colors. My favored subjects are opulent, vibrant scenery, extreme weather, portraits and visionary/surreal imagery. I capture moments that seem like poetry, and strive to inspire joy for life, creativity, imagination and Illusion. Prints of my work are available at:

I enjoy bringing stories to life with vibrant and beautiful images, and specialize in children's, book, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery and horror illustrations. www.susigalloway.com/illustrationdesign/
