About Me:
artist/artlover
About My Art:
I have a carefree but fully engaged approach to life and art.
I find inspiration in the smallest of things because I 'see' with these inquisitive and always looking for magic eyes.
My work incorporates many approaches and mediums all in one ------ but than so does life. I am always willing to flow with new life and change my art with it.
Overall I bring to my work one consistent phrase and that is this energy of the mixing of lifes varied forces; as in nature, as in life, as in art.

Sammy discusses his gallery life, art he loves and the exhibitions held at this multi-media gallery on the Old Kent Road. Why did you want to open [...]

Alice’s Adventures in Low Brow: David Nicolato

. I picked up Camille Rose Garcia’s new version of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” the other day. The drawings are exquisite and Ms. Garcia’s ominous take on my favorite story is more than fitting. To me, this story has always had a somewhat foreboding quality. I felt a little bewildered, however, by the deluge of  ”Doe Eyes”. [...]

Tino Seghal at the Guggenheim

After reading the recent blog about the exhibition of Billy Childish, I couldn’t help but contemplate the artist as an “outsider” with regard to London born artist Tino Seghal’s current exhibition at the Guggenheim in New York. Seghal’s unconventional installations attempt to challenge the traditional context in which art is created and exhibited. I’m reminded [...]
