The technique Robert is refe3ring to is Marbelling, popular in the late 19th century.

Traditionally a solution of tragacanth or carrageenan was used to thicken the water bath though wall paper paste will do (no the anti-bacterial sort).

Colour is powder pigment mixed with linseed oil splashed onto the surface of the bath and twitched about with a thin stick.

Paper presized with mordent to key to the pigment is placed onto the surface of the bath and then genly lifted off agian and layed face up on a flat surface.

This technique can be applied to prints already fixed, for a random galzed effect.

There is a process using a pan of water and ink that produces images like these. You get a container of clear water and just touch the surface with a brush loaded with ink.Gently place a piece of rice paper on the surface and carefully lift it off.The swirls of ink are lifted off.

Welcome Magdalena, the quality of your work is very impressive and this piece is so like a character from a Bosch painting, surreal and mystrious. Bravo...
