Hi David, I love this

'Imitation is Limitation' ( John Mason )

The experimental part is the best bit, once you know how to do it you can get stuck I think, I do return now and then to other things, and always to painting, but I enjoy trying out new ways...even with 'Old' materials.
Thanks again for looking at my work, the 'destroyed astrology ' piece was actually an astrology picture that took me weeks to complete in Black and White...I then decided in a fit of madness to colour bits in and completely ruined it...I still have the drawing but destroyed the photograph !
:o)

Kandinsky's work is brilliant. It's great the way he took his painting more deeply abstract & he intensified colour.By the way, your "Destroyed Astrology" is an excellent picture!

Crowdsourcing Art | Neon Burns

Crowdsourcing art is just what we do. This week we have the wonderful Debra D’Breau to showcase. Her digitally enhanced art is beguilingly brash & bold. Her confidence in lustrous form erupts in a high-octane contrast. Each image whips viewers in the gut and her powerful pictures leave a long-lasting sensory hit. She is a [...]

Don’t Play With Boy Soldiers

The likes of D*Face and INSA are collaborating with over 30 street and contemporary artists who have each customised Schoony’s iconic “Boy Soldier”. That’s right, a whole army of commando kids will be ambushing exhibitions next week in both East and West London. . The ALL-STAR line-up is serious! There’s drum n bass dj Goldie, [...]
