Profile Information

About Me:
I am a true lover of art and am inspired by the world of wonders that artists and nature presents everyday. I began drawing at age two. I began painting at seven. Sculpting at fifteen and have created various works since then. In 1994 I took a job with Disney Feature Animation. I started there as a 2D software instructor. My background as a Navy contractor quickly got me a promotion to 3D art instructor. After hours I taught classes for local 839 animation guild union members in 3D modeling and sculpting as well as animation tools. I became a technical director working on several animated movies for Disney and Sony. The artists there are truly inspirational and I love them all so dearly. I want to teach, inspire and grow as an artist with love and in love with what I do. I am grateful to be back in that space again and am looking to play with artists of a similar nature.
About My Art:
I am a 3D Artist, Animator and Illustrator. I also do some sculpting and painting. I have always written and have been developing several stories for web series, books and animated features. Painting "cat rocks", chainsawing beetle eaten wood trunks into nature scenes, lost wax bronze sculpture, drawing and painting are my favorite hobbies.
Favorite Music:
I love all kinds of music from classical to rock and roll
Favorite Films:
I love animated features, Tim Burton movies, John Hughes, Steven Spielberg, John Musker and Ron Clements, and most notably Brad Bird and John Lasseter. Little Mermaid, The Incredibles, ratatouille, The Princess and the Frog, Nightmare before Christmas, etc...
Favorite Artists:
Glen Keane,Bobby Chiu, Brad Bird, Tim Burton, John Lasseter, John Musker, Ron Clements, Andreas Deja, Eric Goldberg, Dan Cooper, Ian Gooding.... geez I could go on for a long time!

Her confidence in lustrous form erupts in a high-octane contrast. Each image whips viewers in the gut and her powerful pictures leave a long-lasting sensory hit. She is a [...]
