BTW we are becoming less of a plastic bags generation ...

Concerning plastic bags I have two indelible memories. One of seeing a film in Sydney showing exrays of whales that have swallowed plastic bags ( mistaking them for jelly fish) ; a second experience in the north of the Sahara Desert in Marocco. The wind had brought in from the urban areas, thousands of black plastic bags .. they covered the desert like so many evil messengers of human sloth.
