Event Description

b-uncut is a powerful new art marketplace started in late 2007 as a community of like-minded, emerging and contemporary artists led by Philip Letts, innovation artist and abstract photographer. Philip’s aim was to create a community where artists could free themselves from the confines of the legacy art marketplace, where all too often galleries and auction houses act as choke points rather than facilitators.

The b-uncut website (www.b-uncut.com) offers a cutting-edge virtual online gallery, and puts art lovers and buyers within one degree of separation of an infinite number of talented international artists whether you're looking for painters, photographers or digital artists. Along with our new gallery, we've also launched a blog (www.b-uncut.com/blog) to give a voice to our artists, and bring their art to life.

Our launch party will take place at our studio in West London on Monday 16th November from 18.15 (ish) - 21.00 (ish). You'll get to meet some of our talented artists who will present some of their pieces, and b-uncut founder Philip Letts will also do a short talk about b-uncut and what we've been up to.

Expect cocktails, live Twittering, and art talk in a relaxed environment on the night! We would very much like to meet you at the event, and it would be fab if you could RSVP by Wednesday 4th November at the latest. Although we will be converting our studio into a gallery on the night, the space available to us is still limited!

Crowdsourcing Art | Neon Burns

Crowdsourcing art is just what we do. This week we have the wonderful Debra D’Breau to showcase. Her digitally enhanced art is beguilingly brash & bold. Her confidence in lustrous form erupts in a high-octane contrast. Each image whips viewers in the gut and her powerful pictures leave a long-lasting sensory hit. She is a [...]
